Faculty Toolbox for the CBC Library

Use this guide to determine the best way for you to integrate librarians into your instruction

Do you teach asynchronously? Do you want library instruction but can't fit a live lecture into your curriculum?

We're available to support you!

Your CBC librarians can create video lectures on any number of topics. We recommend that these videos be no longer than 5-6 minutes in length, in order to maintain student engagement.

We also have a variety of pre-existing videos that may suit your classes! Reach out to your liaison librarian or library@columbiabasin.edu for custom tailored videos or adjustments.

Here's an example of an existing video available for you to use and embed in your classes! More videos can be found on our YouTube channel.

Research Guides are a great way to supplement existing instruction within your course.

When used asynchronously, research guides provide an easy landing place for your students to navigate the research process; guides can be custom made for a general topic, specific to your class, your assignment, or any other need you may have.
